If you have seen people paddling in larger bodies of enclosed water or maybe wanted to explore slightly further from the shoreline such as the Islands of Poole Harbour, then this is the course for you. Will will take your paddling skills and work on them to become more adapt for the open water environment.
Objectives
Over three hours you will develop:

An understanding of weather and hazards within the open water environment.

Paddling techniques for the open water environment

Being able to self-rescue within the open water environment
Experience Required
You will have experience paddling within the sheltered water environment and feel confident within this. You will have a desire to be paddling within the open water environment. Ideally you will be able to wet exit with a spray deck.
What's Included
Included in the price is three hours of tuition in a maximum ratio of 1:6.
Ideally you should have your own kit but we can provide the following included in the cost:
