About The Paddle
If you are experienced in a range of different environments and want to experience white water, or you enjoy white water but still require leading then this is the trip for you. We will paddle the scenic and excellent introductory section of the Lower Lower Dart from Buckfastleigh to Staverton. This is a Grade 1(2) river with some good introductory moving water.
During this paddle we will develop your river reading skills and basic white water skills/ strokes as we journey along the river.
Prior Experience
You will need to be a confident paddler with experience paddling in a range of different environments. You will need to be a confident swimmer.
Equipment
You will ideally have your own equipment for this trip but some equipment can be provided. As a minimum you will need the following equipment:

SUP, canoe or kayak suitable for white water.

Full length wetsuit with cag or drysuit
